6kms up into the bush is the Otahu River bridge, which is the access point to the top end of the Otahu Estuary that flows to Whangamata’s southern estuary. Surrounded by native bush, mountains and marine life this tour is a spectacular experience.

Sheltered from wind and swell, Wildlife Immersion - River Run to Sea is perfect for beginner paddlers, or those simply wanting to unwind.

WHERE TO MEET

We meet at our tour centre located at 101B Winifred Avenue, 15 minutes before the tour. After payment and disclaimer is done, customers are instructed to drive to Island View Road (beach access 14) where we launch our kayaks from.
